“ I stopped here for the first time last night. They did not disappoint!! I bought a Fish & Chicken COMBO box. It comes with 2 choices from 2 lists, bread, french fries and coleslaw for 11. The FIRST list had 5 or 6 types of fish, (Trout, Whiting, Catfish, etc) the SECOND had 5 or 6 chicken options ( 1/2 pound gizzard, livers, wings, 4 drumsticks). I chose Trout & Drumsticks. I THOUGH for 11 dollars I'd get tweetie bird drumsticks, ABSOLUTELY NOT! They were the size of WATER BOTTLES!! The trout was thick cut & large, still with skin, deep fried and SEASONED! So00o0oo good! Amazing fries, perfect portion of slaw and they put the bread under the wax paper, under the food to keep warm. Wow. They have a dessert display with tons of options, we got Peach Cobbler and Pineapple Upside-down Cake. They also had Sweet potatoe pie and others. No fountain sodas, but a huge case of bottles teas, juices & sodas. THIS PLACE IS 5 STARS!! PLEASE VISIT!! ”

I usually order catfish, chicken wings and macaroni and cheese and I'm NEVER disappointed. Everything is always delicious. ”

“ Overall 5 star experience for the value and freshness alone. After taking a chance with a big name two letter restaurant being a bit disappointing we had to try a local franchise joint like HFC. The options were great and the value of the platters were amazing, wife got two fish and I got fish and chicken breast. Besides the sad squished white bread at the bottom it was a banger of a meal. I will be honest the stores inside seemed a bit too run down and made me think more of Mom and pop chicken store than franchise store. Next time I need some good fried fish or chicken quick I am coming back. ”
